Question by JC999: How to move my computer/Tv to a different house without a moving van? Heya, I am moving in 9 days, and I want to move my TV and Computer, but the place I am moving to is 5 hours by train, and my TV is too big to fit in a suitcase, so I need another way, and I can't afford a moving van, is there any way I can move them up apart from a moving van? Best answer for How to move my computer/Tv to a different house without a moving van?:

Answer by jf
FedEx, UPS, etc. Its not cheap, but one of the big name mail services could likely do that job. Truck/SUV obviously. Get like a couple of days rental and just drive the stuff up yourself. You don't need a fancy one, just go for a basic model rental (so cheapest option) and you're good to go. Beer and lots of it. Bribe some friends or family with offerings of alcohol and pizza. That's how a lot of moving happens frankly.

Trains do ship cargo you know!! (Like airplanes). Pack it well in a box and you should be able to ship with you in the train.
