Question by fede_purple: Does anyone know a VERY cheap notebook computer? Im trying to earn money. My mom told me she would give me 20 dollars every time that my sister aced a multiplicacion test. (She is very bad at math) In total I will get 20 dollars each time for teaching her and 100 for acing all of them. Anyway that would be 300 and I am going to sell my camcorder so it would be about 100 dollars. That would be 400 dollars. Does anyone know any notebook computers below or on that price? Please help. yes there are substandard slow laptops out there for $ 400. i guess if you want something old and slow and outdated the day you buy it then that's cool. you could be much happier if you spend $ 549 on a dell inspiron 1501 for 3 years, but you're not willing to spend a lil more also, you want good laptop for a super small price. that's the tradeoff. you can't get good for cheap. you can get good for more $ .

anything compaq or dell should be cheap and non upgradable enough to have it sold at a very low price. Check your local laptop shop they usually got a few cheap ones kicking around.
