It is interesting that the Chinese computer brand Lenovo is now competing against Dell Computers, HP, and other top US brands. For while Acer was the low-cost leader in laptop prices, but now Lenovo is the lowest price by a least $ 100-$ 150. If you look at the weekly ads that are inserted into your newspaper by the various electronic retailers, you will be amazed. It's pretty hard to compete with a laptop that is sold for around $ 300 that has 2 GB of RAM, and 180 GB of hard drive, and still has all the components that you expect on a computer.

Most people will not buy the Lenovo Brand yet, as they don't know much about it. But what they should know is that many of the top US brands have been buying components and parts from this company for many years. If you own a computer from a top US company such as Hewlett-Packard, you may be surprised to learn that it may have parts made by this other company inside. So therefore, if you trust Hewlett-Packard, you alre ady partially trust Lenovo without even knowing it.

It is good to see the laptop prices come down in America; it is good to see the Chinese computer companies bringing their quality up. Interestingly enough, it took the Chinese computer companies a while to reach the same quality level as those in the US. And while they were doing so many of the US brands got a bad name, because of their Chinese parts that broke.

Now, the same Chinese companies are trying to sell directly to the US consumer and at an unbelievably low price, with hardware and components that are very similar in quality. I hope you will please consider all this.
