Today, many schools and businesses rely on projectors for their operations. Projectors are used to make business presentations and conduct lectures for students. Although you can use a computer to do a presentation, you still need a projector and projection screen to present to a large group of people.

A projector is important and you will definitely need it someday. So how do you choose the right projector for your business? Choosing the right projector is not as hard as you think it is. In this article, I will share with you some tips on choosing projectors.

Firstly, you must decide what type of projector you want to have. Do you want to get a portable projector or one that is bigger and more stable? If you are required to move from rooms to rooms to present, I will recommend you to buy a projector that is portable, light and slim. This will save you lots of hassles. If you do not move around often to do presentation, getting a stable and bigger projector will be an obvious choice.

If you think projectors are hard to set up, do not worry. You can easily set up a projector by following the instruction manual. It is very similar to how you set up a laptop. Power on after you plug in the power plug and adjust the projection onto a screen.

So how much will it cost to buy one projector? In the past, a projector is very expensive. But today, the technology is getting more common and projectors have become very affordable. There are many different types of projectors and the price varies based on the features. A lighter and slimmer projector will definitely cost more and therefore, it is important that you get one that suits your needs.

What you can do is to go online and do a research on the different types of projectors. Go to forums and blogs to read reviews. Then shortlist a few types to buy. Ask the salesperson to explain the differences between various models so that you can have a better understanding on ea ch of them. Remember, do not make a hasty decision.

Before purchase, make sure that you ask the salesperson to test out the projector for you to see. This is also a good time to learn how to set it up properly.

A right projector will make your presentation looks more professional and helps you to better engage your audience. A good projector is definitely an asset to your business, so do consider getting one soon.

Eye strain is a problem with screens. You can reduce your risk by getting the lighting right and sitting as far away from then as possible. Sit with any light source at 90 degrees ( don't sit facing a window if you can help it). Keep computer screens at arms length. Try taking your eyes away from the screen every 15 minutes, just look up and focus on somethign far away. Make sure you drink enough water - your eyes dry in front of screens and it doesn't help if you get dehydrated. When you arent' using the screens try and go outside and use your distance vision, play sports/go for a walk or something. That gives your eyes a break.

hippo is right. also lower the brightness on the screen and change backgrounds to grey, not white. I had to stare at my screen all day at my office and the best screen filters did nothing. some kid offered teh above advice and worked like a charm. But again, follow what Hippo said. stare away from teh screen every 15 mts for abreak.
