For the PC enthusiast finding used parts can save a lot of money on our next upgrade. There is always good opportunities to get more ram or a bigger hard drive. Your friend who is a "noobie" with computers claims his PC just won't boot up, he thinks it's "broken" and thinks it's time for a new PC anyways. While he thinks its garbage to a nerd its a treasure chest! Imagine all the free items that you can find inside that still work just like new. If you are like me than you love getting cheap used parts and finding bargains anywhere you can. Here are some places I always find used parts:

PC outlet stores. 9 times out of 10 your local PC shop has old parts from computer's that were upgraded. These parts can be a lot cheaper than brand new, sometimes over 50% off! Groups or teams. If your part of any computer group or team, you should ask fellow members if they have the spare part you are looking for. The chances of you finding the part you need is high because everyone here is sure to have a part of two laying around. Online. There are tons of discount PC part stores on the internet. Auction websites often have bulk amounts of computer parts being sold for unbelievably cheap prices. Garage sales. People are always selling their "old" computers, having no idea what their actual value is you can take advantage of huge savings.

Remember buying used computer parts can save you as much as half the full price which is incredible. Always look for people who are getting rid of their old computer because there are always components you can scavenge that are useless to them.

nope, they should work just the same, only issue, no warrenty, so if you have a problem that would have been covered, your out of luck.
