I know that your computer mouse is a mouse but if you have a box full of them what would they be called mice or what? it is a really good question, but I guess it is pluralized just like the animal (i.e., it is not 'mouses')

Yes they would be called mice. You can see this on many PC suppliers webpages, where generally under peripherals there will be a subsection called "Keyboards & Mice".
