When you're looking for a small, portable computer, you have four main options. You can get a laptop computer, a tablet, a palmtop PC, or a smart phone.

 

Notebooks are a type of laptop computer, and you can get them with 7 inch screens if you want a small piece. Larger pieces have as much as 10.2 inch or 13.3 inch screens. Most notebooks are Wi-Fi enabled, have LCD screens, and run on Windows. The laptop computers have a touch pad and have USB and/or PS2 ports to support an external mouse.

 

The 160 GB HD 13.3 inch Laptop comes with a white cover casing and has a powerful processor. Its LCD has a screen resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels, and it has an in-built camera with 1.3 Megapixels.

 

The laptop has 3 separate USB ports and a battery life of 3 hours. On the smaller side of the spectrum is the white 7 inch mini notebook.

It's also Wi-Fi enabled and runs on Windows CE 6.0. It has a 2GB internal hard drive and a touch panel mouse function. It has 3 USB ports, but no camera, and its screen resolution is 800 by 480 pixels.

 

Tablets are available in screen sizes ranging from 7 inches to 10 inches. Because tablets have no in-built keyboards, they come with a touch screen function and allow for handwriting input as well.

 

Many tablets run on Google Android and are Wi-Fi enabled. They are popular for their beauty and portability. Tablets come equipped with software that can view e-books, pictures and video feeds.

 

The 8.9 MID Touch Screen Tablet laptop is a hybrid of sorts. The tablet is built into a leather casing, and the lower half of the case houses a keyboard. This tablet laptop runs on Windows XP Tablet edition.

 

It has a 1.3 Megapixel camera that can be used for face recognition to improve your computer's security.

Its battery lasts for up to 5 hours. This tablet laptop has capability for internet connection via both Wi-Fi and LAN.

 

There are also notebooks available in pink, and you can get a 7 inch version or a 10.1 inch version. They both run on Windows CE 6.o and are extra thin to make them more effeminate. The slimness is convenient for ladies because it fits easily in handbags.

What connections does your pc and palmtop have? The easiest would be if both have bluetooth. Otherwise check whether your palmtop can exchange files using a USB cable.

The easiest way to get across is via CompactFlash or SD or whatever cardnot tthe sync conduit, if this palmtop is Palm OS 4 or less (Motorola-based Palm) the procedure is completely different albeit awkward, but you are OK with Palm OS 5 or greater.

If the Palmtop has a bluetooth connection you can get a bluetooth adapter for your computer (if you dont already have one) and transfering shoud be a b reeze.
