The refurbished laptops are almost as expensive new ones and have older oprating systems... they really aren't that good a buy... but a used Thinkpad will cost about $ 400 to $ 500

Go to ebay. after the mac air is out it the macbook should be less and in my opinion is better. make sure you buy it from a respectable person go here.
