When buying your new laptop computer, we cannot stress enough the importance of considering buying a refurbished laptop computer. Why is this you may ask? It is really quite simple.
Refurbished laptops are not "broken" machines that someone has just "patched" up to resell in many cases, but they are actually, and surprisingly, new laptops that may have just been sent back and hardly used as returns based on 90 day guarantees and more. In all actuality, when buying a refurbished laptop computer, you may actually be purchasing a basically brand new laptop! If it was from a reputable dealer such as Dell, then in many cases it was something very minor such as a small dent or scratchâ¦or even a missing button which can quickly be replaced by them then repackaged and resold immediately. This provides many of those buying a refurbished laptop computer a way to save nearly half the price that they would normally pay for the exact same thing! This is one of the best things about buying a refurbished laptop computer.
Some things to consider when buying a refurbished laptop computer include:
Finding out what the reputation of the company you plan on buying a refurbished laptop computer from is. Oftentimes, many people will be purchasing a second-hand refurbished laptop and not even from the actual source. If this is the case, try looking around for better deals from places like Dell where they refurbish the laptops right there and place them online for sale. As with any business, there are always going to be those trying to pull a fast one on people wanting a better price. Be sure the new refurbished laptop suits your needs. There are many refurbished laptops hitting the market by the minute at places like Dell, so be a little picky in order to receive something you actually want and that best fits your laptop needs. Next, look at the warranties as well. This is an interesting thing to observe as we have observed everywhere where the prices of the warranties may differ. Can the higher priced warranties mean a more likely to be in need of fixing sooner or does it mean the computer is just more expensive to fix if needed? I have found lower priced refurbished laptops with higher warranty costs than better laptopsâ¦so with the warranty, they were the same price.

Kook in your phone book for computer recyclers. Most large cities have one or two, and there are lots of used computer dealers in the smaller one s. In Nashville there are at least three main ones, Computers New and Used, Renaissance Computers, and Advanced Technologies.
