These days tablet computers are gaining a good amount of popularity among kids with so many different versions. There are a bunch of tablet computers specially made for kids. Popular kid’s product companies like Fisher Price, Vinci, V-Tech, etc. are however coming up with tablet computers for kids on a large scale. Though tablet computers for kids look attractive, they do not have good features unlike in other normal computer because after all they are only for kid’s use. Internet cannot be accessed in these computers and hence parents have to download all the content for their children.

Kids in large numbers came forward to check the workings of tablet computers by reading books, taking pictures and by playing different kinds of games. The tablet computers were later on examined in the laboratory to check the shelf life of its battery.

Apart from battery check, they also checked the tablet computer’s display quality and instructions of use. The Vinci has been the most popular adult tablet making computer in the last four (4) years. The company’s computers are popular for their best display and touch screen capabilities. Also their computers have a hard drive capacity of 8 GB. But then when it comes for buying a computer for a toddler, it is just too expensive to spend so much money on.

The tablet computers of the company V-Tech came up with computers for children from the age group of 4 to 9. Their computers have good features lke cameras with editing facilities and kids beaming in art studio. The cost of the computer was $ 80. Same with the tablet computer which Fisher Price launched and is also priced at $ 80.

Check your Internet service provider. Sometimes they offer free parental controls. I know Cox, and ATT does. There is software called netnanny. It is believed to be good. Make sure what ever you use it cant be accessed on another proxy server.
