Dell does have custom motherboards but they are not made by Dell. They are usually just re-branded Intel products. You are more than free to buy Intel motherboards and build computers to be sold out of them but I would not use Dell's since they are branded and may contain proprietary parts. In short no. Dell will sue you. Intel will not.

Well, you can't go claiming another's product as yours, but you can sell a custom(that is the key word) laptop, saying that it has a Dell motherboard. Personally, with the experience I've had w Dell, get Sony.
