Question by : Do Lenovo computers have bad battery? I have owned my Lenovo for barely a year and a half now and I have had to replace my charger three times. I can't tell if it's the charger, the battery,or if Lenovo just eats chargers. I have a Rocketfish universal charger and it doesn't last more than 6 months on my computer. So does anyone have a similar problem? Is it with the charger or the battery? Or is this just normal? Thank you in advance, Nana Best answer for Do Lenovo computers have bad battery?:

Answer by Shawn H
The quality of Lenovo chargers and batteries is pretty poor. I used to purchase their equipment for a university and we had the following problems: 1. Batteries failing in less than a year 2. The plastic housing on the chargers would come apart at the seam. I can't comment on the quality of second party chargers and that could be your problem. Try a genuine Lenovo charger. Some Lenovo notebooks have a 3 year warranty. If the computer is still under warranty, place a support call.
