Well some have better precission... But then again this is not always true! The main difference is that is wireless! (if the battery is weak then it could become very annoying to recharge them day by day...)

The only advantage is that you don't have to drag the cord around on the desk. The disadvantage is having to deal with batteries, and sometimes you have to reset the mouse. Optical now is a different matter, I will never want to go back to a ball mouse.

I prefer a wired mouse over a wireless one. The signal rarely has any problems and you don't have to ever recharge it. You also won't lose it under a pile of papers or wherever you accidentally left it .

It depends...functionality wise, they are the same. Pros of wireless - wire doesn't get entangled; sometimes the wire could damage the table (by leaving scratches). Cons - batteries need to be replaced - in my case every month

It depends on your need for a wireless mouse. Wireless mouse usually have a good range on them if you're setting up a PC system that requires distance between you and the PC itself. Such as a media center PC hooked up to your LCD Monitor/TV. The disadvantages is that they do need batteries to operate and they're usually more expensive to purchase than a wired mouse.

I personally prefer the wireless as I am annoyed by the mouse cord. I like the advanced features of my Logitech wireless mouse! I always say, "My mouse can do tricks!" Although, it is really annoying when your batteries are running low and starts messing up, or the mouse stops working altogether, and you have no mouse!

Yes ofcourse but it's quite Expensive and I've heard people saying it's fun but it gets.. damaged soon (in comparision to Wired optical one)

I have a wireless laser mouse, cost $ 80 but to me it's well worth it. new wireless technology allows for a 2.4ghz signal and much longer battery life. Mine comes with 2 rechargeable, flat batteries.....so while I'm using 1 the other is charging......never run out of mouse.......it's awesome, i couldn't live with out it! Check um out.............

i think the wired one is better you have to recharge the batteries or replace for that matter what is one more wire running to the back
