tj definitely deserves this after his 100+ videos on youtube for us. www.youtube.com tj is a great guy, very helpful answers all the questions he can. No, tj does not really neglect his children. I'm sure they will be fine (and be insane at building computers one day.)

I have to admit I am not the most technical minded, and when I stumbled across a computer builder I was impressed. The great thing about a computer builder is that you can go and choose the parts you want also the configuration and they will then assemble the computer for you.
The great thing here is that if you're like me and you're not the worlds best handyman you get the greatest of both worlds. You still get your custom computer, however they build it for you.
The biggest advantage in building your own computer is the ability to build to your specifications, based on what your needs are for that computer. Imagine being able to build a car like that. No frills just the stuff you need and like. So if you really want a media center for recording video and music you can just look for the items that will deliver on that.
Since you will be cutting a lot of the things that you may not need the computer builder will also save you money. What's imperative though is to do your research to find out exactly what you need in order to get the job done and then some.
You do not want to cut yourself short. The good news is that you will with most computer builders get phone and e-mail support to help you along the way.
Do your homework. Visit third party review websites, local BBB orginizations, when choosing your computer builder. Contact them and see how fast they respond along with how they answer your questions.
Find More Have You Ever Considered A Computer Builder? ArticlesQuestion by Matthew K: For a computer builder, what is the best/cheapest way to buy Windows to install? I understand that you need a license for each computer you install Windows onto. So what is the best way to go about this, because buying a full version of Windows for each computer isn't going to be all that efficient. I am sure there are plenty of computer builders out there who can relate and help, so any input would be appreciative and I thank you for your time! Well, the easiest way is to buy multiple volume licenses so that you can use the same s/n and disc for multiple desktops. Also some places I believe offer discounts for nonprofit and schools if you are a member of either of these.
Answer by Richard K
I believe you can buy license packages which allow you to legally install windows on the number of licenses in the package.

You would probably want to purchase a Windows OEM license pack, which normally includes 50 to 100 licenses. This is the method used by the "big guys" (Dell, HP, etc.)
Answer by Danny's not Cool
just go to windows website and find out about their licencing option. you give a lump some amount and then a fixed fee for each computer that you use the windows in.
