D3 isn't worth upgrading for or buying, wait for Torchlight 2 (it's $ 20). I got my D3 refunded it was so bad. A pc able to run D3 would cost around $ 500-600 to build yourself, less if you buy used. Prebuilts are a rip.

Phenom X4 is faster than most FX series, so it's good for D3, 4GB is more than enough, on the video card side I would recommend at least ATI 7750 or Nvidia GTX 550, even though D3 will run fine on GT 440 or similar cards. Good ventilation in case and reliable PSU, CPU cooler will help. Check this ($ 729 shipped, or $ 707 after coupon BF3)

Here's the rundown: The processor in this system is an AMD APU A6-3500; this particular CPU has built in graphics that are equal to a 6670 graphics card. Which is a fairly nice place to start from, also, if you choose to get a discrete graphics card down the road, you can get a 6670 and run the built-in 6670 plus the discrete in "Crossfire" to effectively double performance. There are 4GB of RAM in this build, which is plenty for an entry level gaming computer; and you can upgrade to 8GB at any time. So that is always something to consider. In my personal opinion; I would upgrade to 8GB as the first upgrade. No game uses more than 8GB; so anything over that is a waste. This system has a 500GB Seagate Barracuda; which is a damn good hard drive. It features a 7200RPM and 16MB cache, this is good for a budget computer as well. **The hard drive comes with Windows 7 Home Edition 64-bit pre-installed. The case can be changed if you want; You definitely want something you can stand looking at. If you don't like this particular build, you can use their configurator to design your very own system.
