Some dodge products have to be reset by the dealer. We've had this type problem with several dodge vehicles in our fleet.

, The dodge PCM holds the code as operation history unless you leave the battery unhooked for at least 2 hours it will not clear,, if it still does not clear then it has to be cleared with a scanner you may have another problem have it checked

Your best bet is to have it scanned with OBD2 equipment. This will tell you what triggered the code and if (could be a gas cap) something needs to be repaired (I think so) Auto Zone does this for free, just let us know the code(s)
