First piece of advice, go to a music store rather than a consumer electronics store. 2nd, if you just need 1 mic, your most reasonable option is a USB condenser microphone. Brands like blue, audio technica, shure, samson and Akg (among others) make this type of product for less than 200 dollars. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Yeti/ http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SnowballAL/ ->snowball is an INCREDIBLY popular model http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/AT2020USB/ http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PG27USB/ Those are some options, If I were you, I'd probably be leaning towards the audio technica (the 3rd one) or the Snowball. but I bet you, they'd all sound great. Get more advice from the people at the MUSIC store :) Good luck

Hello, I think you can buy a microphone without the recorder function and then download a recorder program from http://www.camersoft.com/audio-recorder.html I think it is much professional and cheaper to record voice in this way
