Looking for a gift for your imaginative little girl? Perhaps you ought to look into the Disney Netpal in Princess Pink color. It is going to be an exciting holiday gift for kids ages 6-12 this year. The Disney Netpal also comes in Magic Blue. But decorated with swirlies, the Princess Pink version is just one that most girls will fall in love with.

The Disney Netpal is NOT a toy

The Disney Netpal is made by Asus, a premier manufacturer of computers and computer accessories. It is a full blown netbook. It comes standard with an 8.9" screen, 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU, 160 GB hard disk, 1 GB RAM memory, wireless access, Windows XP, and more. So it's not a toy. An adult can actually do most office work using a Netpal such as email, word processing, Excel reports, online research, etc.

But since it's made for kids ages 6-12, it comes with fun customizable themes that only Disney can provide such as Club Penguin, Disney Classic Characters, Disney Princes s, Toy Story, Jonas Brothers, and many others. Actually, these themes are background and wallpaper sets that are specifically designed and exclusive to the Disney Netpal. So Disney collectors and junkies are gonna love this gadget as well.

Encourage creativity at a young age

The biggest advantage that a Disney Netpal can give to your child is the hours and hours of educational value. This Disney laptop is equipped with a software called Disney Pix. It teaches kids how to edit pictures and digital images while having fun. Think of this as an introductory Photoshop. In the creative field of multimedia which is growing by leaps and bounds today, there are artists and graphic design professionals who are highly paid for their skills in Photoshop or other digital image software. Your kid can get a leg up at a very young age if given the chance to just sit, create, and experiment.

Comes with safety measures for online use

Since the Disney Netp al is a real netbook, kids (or adults) can use it to go online and receive emails. There are also rising concerns over Internet safety, especially when it comes to children. This Disney laptop comes equipped with features that will allow the parents to control what their children view or which software programs they could use. With timing and locking capabilities, the parents are also able to control when and for how long their children can use the Disney Netpal. And finally, parents are able to create a list that their children can send and receive emails.

The Disney Netpal is looking like the right gift for the imaginative child. It's not a toy, but a fun early learning device with safety features that could help stir a young creative mind.
