Buying the best notebook computer for a student [aboutcomputer99.blogspot.com]

If you are a student, you may want to buy a laptop that allows you to do your school work, but which does not cost much. In such cases, you could try to buy Asus notebooks which are very good at this kind of thing. When buying a laptop for use in such an environment, you may not want to buy something that is too high end since these are often very expensive. You could try and find some of the basic Asus computers, and you would likely find the one that suits you needs perfectly.

When you are doing this, chances are that you would like to buy something that you can use for more than just work. Most students would want to also use Asus notebooks for entertainment as well. Fortunately, when you buy Asus notebooks, you can often find one that offers the functionality you would need for handling your school work and also some entertainment features as well.

Of course, when you are on a limited budget, you may not afford to buy one that can run some of the very demanding games or play 3D movies. However, even the most basic Asus computers are very capable at handling the odd HD movie, music and even a regular game or two.

However, in order to find the one that suits you perfectly, you would have to keep a few things in mind. For instance, when you decide to buy a low or mid-range notebook, you are bound to find that there are many different kinds that Asus offers. All of these usually have differences in price, capability and physical features. This means that if you do not know what you are after, you may end up buying something that may be affordable but not exactly what you need.

For instance, some students may take design lessons, and this usually means having to run design programs. Some of these programs normally need a lot of processing power, and therefore a computer that does not offer this may not prove to be useful in such cases. This means that when you are buying an Asus notebook, you have to keep in mind why you need it and then try to find one that offers enough computing power to handle your needs. This way, you will not end up making a wrong decision which you may not be able to reverse.

An example of something else that you may need to consider is how portable you need your notebook to be. For instance, some people may suffer from conditions that may not allow them to carry heavy loads even for short distances. In such cases, you may want to buy a notebook which has been designed specifically to be light. In this day and age, there are many such notebooks around. These are just some of the things that you need to consider when you buy Asus notebooks. The good thing about the Asus brand is that they stock such a wide variety of products that almost anyone can find something to suit them despite their specific needs.

Generally your best bet is either HP or Sony. I have an HP and i love it. Sony is a great brand as well. My Hp hasn't had any problems yet (knock on wood) and it's gone through 3 semesters in a dorm. I would steer clear of Acer and Toshiba. I haven't heard anything good about them

Toshibas are junky. I have an Asus and love it, even though I have not had it long. Boyfriend had an Asus as well, for a couple years and loved his. They are great for gaming.
