Which Computer Or Office Desk is Right For Me? [aboutcomputer99.blogspot.com]

So, having a tough time choosing which computer desk, are you? There are many selections to choose from, but there are also many things to consider as well. What is your budget? Do you wish to match the office desk to another piece of furniture in the home or office? Or home office? We answer these questions and more below.

Do you like smooth surfaces? If you want a very smooth surface, and are not overly concerned about durability, a glass computer desk is a good choice. Glass office desks are also a prudent choice when you need more surface space. Many glass office desks come with multiple areas to place your monitor, printer, or other electronics you may require. Of course, the downside to having a glass desk is of course the durability of such furniture. Glass is the easiest to smash out of the desks we review in this article, so keep that in mind.

Next we move onto wood desks. You could choose solid wood, or cherry, hickory, maple, oak, etc. Oak wood i s strong, durable, and looks good as well. Oak and cherry are the two most popular picks when it comes to wood desks. Oak is thick, and an all around good choice. Cherry appeals to some people because they prefer the red. Hickory or maple can look good in a rustic setting, or if you use dark colors in the decor of your office.

You may also consider a corner desk. A corner desk is a good piece of furniture to have because it fits into the corner, thus taking up less room in your office. You can also meld your favorites and purchase a corner computer desk or even a corner oak computer desk.

We hope this helps you to decide on which piece of office furniture is right for you! Check back next week when we analyze what office chair is right for you.

Question by Lenny: Which computer is best for home recording? I am talking very, very basic stuff here. I change the sound preferences to line in and plug in an amp cable, then record with windows sound recorder. Still, what type of computer would be best for this? I'm thinking of various sound cards, handling capacity, which computers won't be overloaded or damaged by having an 80 - 100 watt amp wired into them... things like that. Best answer for Which computer is best for home recording?:

I'm not sure what you are asking - a desk top vs. a lap top? A brand name? I suggest you be more specific in your question and post it in the COMPUTER forum.
