Question by The 10th Letter: Computer performance test? I ran a computer performance test and this is what I got "You Have: 2.20 GHz Performance Rated at 4.29 GHz" I'm not sure if the real speed of my cpu is 2.20 or 4.29 any help would be appreciated. Also, is running dual core or solo on the processor better for gaming? Best answer for Computer performance test?:

Answer by The Dude
the proc is 2.2ghz. That permance rating thing is BS. Most games do not make good use of multiple cores, however you are no worse off for having them. The main advantage of dual cores with gaming is that if you have other applications running in the background, they can use the other core, so it doesn't lag your game.

Answer by Nice guy
your processor is a 4.29 but it is only giving you 2.20 and dual is better then single, dual is like 2 prossesor in one, and a 64 is betther then a 32, i have a 64 and it runs great, I love my vista lol
