Question by : How to use second monitor for a virtual computer ...? We are two people in the house and we have a single computer , Phenom II X4 955 @ 4.2 Ghz with 16 GB Ram and two 30 inch monitors... Only one of us uses the computer , my girlfriend just does browsing and some IM... My question is , with another mouse/keyboard pair and that second monitor what's the best way to create a virtual machine for her? ... U need a video card if not present and the install cd. Then u need to plug the second monitor into the video card then u need to right click the screen and go to properties. U will see the screen where u can change the background. U will see a number 1 and 2 then u need to set up the controls its not hard to do. When done rite u will be able to move the mouse back and forth between screens. Good luck

To bad you couldn't afford another computer! You obviously paid a lot for that one you got now! I have know idea how that would work! Try VirtualBox!

You can set up the second monitor with a VM, but there's no way to connect two keyboards and two mice. You'd have to share them.
