Question by : How do you know which computer programs are running on your computer? My computer is so slow. I have Norton on it and it says it's clear of viruses? I think I have programs that are running and slowing my computer down but I don't know how to tell. It sounds a little on the loud side which also makes me think this. What OS? In Windows I just use Task Manager.

Alt+Ctrl+Del ----> task manager.you canfind the prgrms running in ur computer

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Open up task manager. At the top tabs pick processes. Chose show processes by all users. Find the ones labeled under user. Look at the names. These are all shown and hidden applications currently running on your computer.

press ctrl+alt+delete at the same time and scroll down to task manager and when that opens go to applications and that shows what programs are running and you can go to the processes's tab and that shows what else is running
