First you of all you also need 3d vision glasses which are costly enough for viewing 3d content on your monitor. I hope your monitor refresh rate is above 120hz because below that it wont work. Secondly only nvidia graphic cards support 3d vision glasses and games not ati. So you will have to buy an nvidia graphic card. Third thing is that when playing games in 3d less powerful graphic cards wont perform well at all as you will have frame rate issues so you need to buy a high end card like may be nvidia gtx 460 and above. They have been in the market for more than 2 years but the prices of these products have hardly dropped
