If you're into playing games, then you've definitely played some console games in your time. Whether it's the old Atari system or the new PS3, there are various ways to play video games. One of the ways games are normally played now is through PCs. When you buy a PC, it will usually come with basic gaming software. If you looked at the games which came with the computer, it would be games like chess, solitaire, mine sweeper, etc. If you're looking for high quality games that you're more accustomed to, then you'll probably need to buy it.

One thing you need to know when buying computer gaming software is the hardware requirement. Since technology is constantly changing, computer games now days tend to require higher hardware specifications. Here are some tips to help you when buying those computer gaming software.

1. First, know what game you're buying. This may seem like a pointless tip, but you really need to know what you want to get because every game re quires different hardware specifications.

2. Second, see if you can run it on your computer. You can do this by Googling the specifications of the game and checking to see if your computer meets the standard. For me, I usually just go to canyourunit.com; this website has a list of games which you can pick from, then automatically checks your system if it can run it. This site is very useful when figuring out game requirements.

3. Lastly, make sure the game you're buying has a high replay value. What do I mean by replay value? There are games out there that is good when playing the first time around, but then you suddenly get bored and cannot bare to play it again. These games tend to happen with RPGs (role playing games) because they are simply long. You need to find a good balance of "initial fun" and "replay fun".

Hopefully, these tips will help you find that perfect computer game. So drop that game.
