Question by hi there: Furniture and Computer? Can anyone recommend a good place to buy computer furniture, like a futon frame,futon cover, cute bedspread, dresser, nighstand? What are some good ways to earn this money?I'm only around my early teen years, I don't have a constant, well- paying job? Also, what is better, computer or laptop? You're going to get a cheap computer if you want it for under $ 600. Also, stay away from the laptop since the desktop will have more memory and power. Especially if you're in your early teens, you don't need the best computer out there. Check out garage sales for the best prices on what you're looking for. We just sold our futon for $ 30. Good ways to earn money: start your own business. Make candles, soaps, something and sell them off of Ebay.

Re computer/laptop it really depends on your needs. You're going to get about twice as much processing power in a desktop at a significantly lower price as well as the capability to add upgrades in the future but of course that isn't portable. If you want a laptop you are going to be paying a lot more for roughly the same capabilities.

Not sure why you consider a futon computer furniture, and since you're in america I cant advise anywhere. Even teens can make money - try babysitting, or getting your parents/guardians to pay you for doing chores. Computer or laptop - Depends if you want to move or not. If you want to play games mostly; desktop PC. If it's for browsing the net and other less demanding tasks; a laptop. The upside of a laptop is you can lie on your bed, throw yourself over a chair, move into te kitchen - wherever. If you don't need this, it's not worth getting one. Im not sure what to suggest in the way of brands, but I would steer you away from Apple Macs, purely because they're expensive for a starving teen student.

WalMart is a good place to buy inexpensive furniture, though most of it is poorly made. It will, however, probably get you through your college years. Check out IKEA as well. If there isn't a store in your area, you can shop at ikea.com. They have fairly inexpensive furniture. While they focus more on function rather than fashion, their stuff is still pretty trendy. As for extra money, try babysitting, walking neighbours dogs, pet sitting, mowing lawns. Also, there are several times I have needed someone to help around the house. Maybe you could offer a helping hand to some people in your neighbourhood, doing things like helping with laundry, washing windows, vaccuuming, dusting. Also, if you know any parents with young children that work from home, check to see if they might need a 'helper' during the day. While they are making calls and whatnot, you could occupy the children. Good luck!
