Multi tasking has become a norm today. Emailing a client, answering your phone and collecting documents for your next meeting is all done at the same time. In an era where time is money, multi tasking and doing things at the same time is of great importance. You need to get lot of things done at the same and hence doing those together makes a lot of sense. Imagine a situation at your workplace where your computer is at one place, telephone line at one place, internet modem at a third place and folders in another. It will be utterly chaotic and messy. Not to mention time consuming and frustrating. Now imagine a situation, where in at your work station, all these day to day needed things are there. You have a computer, next to it is the phone line and next to it you have drawers and folders! Is this not a better, less chaotic and more systematic way of working? This will not just improve workplace aesthetics but also improve efficiency of employees.

Accessories lik e in-out trays, document holders, cable manager, mouse pads etc make sure that everything is at an arm's distance and easily accessible to the work station holder. The person who sits there needs all these things very other minute. If something is amiss, the employee may get flustered and loose his thought process. There are many varieties and types of work accessories available today in the market. It totally depends on a company's and the employee's requirement and the kind of work that he does. If he is a telesales agent, his requirement is going to be different than a marketing executive. Thus, work stations and its accessories need to be customized accordingly.

There are many different companies specializing in conceptualizing and manufacturing work station accessories. As is the case with clients, even companies specialize in manufacturing different types of accessories. Some may be solely into telephone and the various accessories connected to it, some may speci alize in computer and its accessories etc.

Although, all companies thrive on one aspect and that is customer service. Work station and its accessories are used very frequently on daily basis and hence prone to wear and tear. Client-manufacturer relationship, in such a scenario, needs to be strong. Manufacturers and service providers need to be reliable so that customers can approach the manufacturer and get the goods accordingly.

Individual work stations and its various accessories have really helped today's employees in terms of time management and appropriate utilization of space without making it looked chaotic and cluttered!
