To avoid having too much stuff in your desk, start by keeping only the things that you need (1 or 2 pens is enough), recycle (use the back of printed documents as scratch or print on them again), and donate stuff that you think can be more useful to other people.

Well, just remember that practice makes perfect, and its never too late to change a bad habit. Not much. In an office, a computer is more likely to be called a workstation. At home it's more likely to be called a personal computer. There IS a difference if you're talking about servers, mainframes, etc. But workstation and PC are one and the same, normally. As an example, some of the workstations in my office, are identical to the PC I used to own at home.
