While making the software, this programmer writes his programs with the help of commands that are written in simple language which is very easy for any of us to understand. The technical name for these commands is 'source code. ' After the process of expressing data with the help of the source code is complete, a program known as 'compiler' is used on this code so that the data can be translated into a language that can be understood by the computer hard ware.
Again, the computer software can be divided into two sub categories: the system software and the application software. The system software is the software which is entitled with the task of helping the hardware function systematically whereas the application software consists of all the other tasks that have to be performed by the computer users except the functioning of the hardware. Sorry, can't help with WMI, but you may find this info helpful. May be you can use System info command (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb491007.aspx) this will give you all the info you are looking for except for MAC address, but you can use GETMAC (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb490913.aspx) command get mac addresses for the remote computer. You can run these commands for each IP Address in your IP range and then combine the data based on IP Address.
