You need to write your elected officials in Washington about your circumstances. Because according to MicroSoft, Dell, Apple and all the big tech companies, there are not enough good computer people in America and they need the H1-B visa requirements lifted so that we can bring in more foreigners to take our jobs. There is NO shortage of computer techs, there is a GLUT. Yet the big money the lobby throws at congress, and the presidential campaigners, is leading them to allow even more in. We have let 20 million foreigners in since 2000. The number of tech jobs has dropped dramatically since then, yet hundreds of thousands of these jobs have gone to non-Americans, while OUR computer techs, both degreed and not, work for $ 8 at Best Buy.
