Question by Adam: Research paper topic on computer operating systems? I'm writing an argumentative research paper for an english class and my teacher reccomended I pick a topic related to my major (Computer Information Systems). well, you might go back to the beginning, when i was in 7th grade the State of Texas put the first computers into classrooms....it was soooo very different....we were taught how to read and write dos code....they rarely teach that anymore...operating systems have almost completely consumed computer classes...you might want to show the differences between computer classes back in the 80's and now.....and how now you have to be quite the specialist to be able to read and write dos code....
