There are a few basic things you might observe and check their status that may help you resolve some of these infuriating performance drags.

1. First if you encounter an error message such as a fatal system error before you see it reboot by itself, then you may be able to solve this particular kind of problem by digging into the properties of your My Computer Icon and then select the Advanced tab. There is a section for Start up and Recovery, and in the settings for that, uncheck the 'Automatically Restart' check box. Then after two affirmative OK clicks you will be able to then search and hopefully correct the situation.

yes there is its called Fdisk that wipes out everthing but then it would not work at all . if you don't have the Windows XP Disk then you are in trouble there is a lot of work to restoreing a computer one wrong move and you have a large paper weight .

Based on your question I am guessing that you have never done a bare-metal OS install. If you bought your computer without original installation media you'll first need to get it. You could also "wash away your problems with the money hose" and pay a professional to reinstall your system.

one way i know how to it. is to reinstall the operating system( xp,vista etc.) but the bad thing is that you also have to install all the drivers again, and also the disk to do it cost some money and then you need the product key.some times when you do it your computer will have the product key in it so you dont need it and sometimes its akso on a sticker on the side of your computer. if you want more info email me.

Yes, its called formatting your hard drive, because this is where all your files are stored including your operating system. Formatting will completely erase everything.
