Question by The Brown Cow [self-made]: Is it possible to change the desktop in a HP Mini laptop computer? I recently got one, and can't seem to make it work. If it has Win7 Starter Edition, you can't!

There should be an update to win7 starter that would allow you to change it, but I am not sure, I only have home premium in the house..

Apple has recently released its new range of desktop computers. The new models didn't go though much of a revamp (like how the MacBooks did) but there were a lot of improvements made to the specs of the desktops. Thanks to that, the new range of Apple desktops gives a better value for your money.

The Apple Mac Mini MC239LL/A is one of the new models in this latest release. It now has a powerful 2.53Ghz Core 2 processor, a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics card, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive and the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard OS. This desktop is also one of the smallest desktops ever made, measuring at just 6.5 x 6.5 x 2 inches in dimensions. If there is ever such as thing as a designer desktop model, this is it. Its cool design (with an anodized aluminum casing) may prove to be irresistible to many.

Some of the other features of the Apple Mac Mini MC239LL/A include a 8X DVD drive (slot-loading), Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, 5 USB ports, a Mini Display port and a FireWire800 port. It is quite amazing how Apple has managed to pack in so many features into one tiny box. It is also made from environmentally friendly materials that are BFR, PVC and lead-free.
