You have to check the file format of your recorded video clips. Most likely they have been recorded to quicktime format (.mov). If you check help section of windows movie maker, it probably only accepts.avi files. You can search on the internet for a way to convert quicktime movies into avi files (start here: www.videohelp). A professional version of Quicktime player would also allow you to encode into avi.
