Overclocking... it can significantly increase the speed of your computer, but only do it if you know what you're doing and you have a very efficient cooling system so that your computer doesn't set on fire. Wikipaedai it.

To disk defragment go to Control Panel and then programs then to accesories and then to system tools click that and you should see disk defragment

Buy some new RAM, it is what determines most of your PC speed. I would suggest 1GB RAM, unless you're a hardcore gamer th en i would suggest 1.5GB-2GB RAM yea its alot or money and hassle but I think it's worth it. Another thing is the graphics card. If you have a graphics card with low memory you're display will show slower and saggy. For the Graphics card i suggest ATI or RADEON and 128mb memory. Oh and if you're going to defragment, don't use the one that is included with Windows (it's slow). Use Diskeeper- www.diskeeper.com you can get a 30 day trial there.
