But i have found xp cd from my friend and accidentally he doesn't have the cd key. Is there any solution? what should i do? get a copy for ur pc if uts dell gatewat whatever get one for that system dl it off limewire download magic iso burn it to a cd make it a bootable cd and find a serial on like serialgen or somthig goodluck

Just turn off windows update, automatic and otherwise, then install avast anti-virus, and the install some anti-spyware andti-malware software, I like Spybot S&D and Spyware Blaster. Then Check for a program called autopatcher You can Find it on www.majorgeeks.com, this program will apply all the windows patches without connecting to the windows site. But I would recommend getting a valid copy of windows for your system.
